Who is a sports medicine patient?
“My patients are people who LOVE being active. They are team sport athletes, runners, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers, hikers, equestrians, and more. Some may have an acute musculoskeletal injury or a concussion, and some may have an overuse injury or non-musculoskeletal issue hindering their ability to be active. They enlist my help to make a diagnosis and design a rehabilitation and performance improvement plan so that they may continue to excel in their favorite activity and lead a healthy lifestyle.”
